The main thing to know about testosterone is that you need to get it in your body in large enough quantities to do the work that testosterone does.

How testosterone works?
When a person starts to take testosterone, he gets into a cycle of increasing and decreasing. There are three phases:
1) the growth phase – which is when testosterone is being built and your body is getting bigger
. 2) the maintenance phase – when you can still build muscle with a slightly decreased level of testosterone and the body is slowly getting used to the new levels. 3) the stop phase – the lowest testosterone level is when you start your cycle. Your body doesn't actually need a lot of testosterone, so if you are on the low end, you probably won't notice much change in your body. If you start to feel the effects of a low testosterone level, you'll probably notice some change in how you feel.
